L.A. Cares mission is to provide access to quality health care for Los Angeles County's vulnerable and low-income communities and residents. The Unified Communications Engineer III leads support of all administrative, planning, monitoring and integration aspects of Call Center, Converge IVR/CVP, In House WebEx, Right fax, Cisco Universal Call Manager and UCCE / PCCE with an emphasis on CVP Scripting. Responsibilities include: Implementing ICM, CTI/CTIOS and Call Center Reporting. Securing operations and participating in disaster recovery preparation. Performing research, evaluation, installation, and upgrades of Telecom hardware and applications. Assisting Helpdesk with telecommunications issues. Training and mentoring junior staff. Troubleshooting and tuning telecom equipment. Leading large telecomm projects and ensuring deadlines are met. Conducting monthly telecommunication system risk analysis and assessment reports. Duties
Lead troubleshooting and design efforts, including IVR/CVP, WebEx, Cisco phone technologies. Install, configure, and maintain complex Telecommunication components. Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day planning, design, operation, and maintenance of voice networks. Monitor Cisco IP phones and extensions. Education Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and/or experience may be considered. Experience
Required:
At least 5 years of system testing and integration experience and/or I.T. Telecommunications. Skills
Required: Customer orientation and relationship building. Timing and prioritization of production jobs. Strong communication, project management, and organization skills. Knowledge of telecommunications equipment and software (Cisco UCCE / PCCE, VRU, UCM, CVP, VXML, SIP Trunking). Experience with voice recording technologies such as NICE. Licenses/Certifications Required
Cisco Certification in Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) Additional Information
