The
2025 ATSG Summer Internship Program
is a structured
10-week initiative
designed to provide college students with
hands-on experience
across ATSG and its subsidiary companies. While some positions may be listed under specific ATSG business units,
all internships are part of our company-wide program , offering a
unified experience
that includes
professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities . Interns will work within their assigned subsidiaries while benefiting from ATSG's
overarching structure, resources, and program events . With

aviation services provider About This Internship The Safety & Environmental Compliance Intern at
LGSTX Services, Inc.
will gain hands-on experience in
workplace safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory processes
within an aviation-focused logistics and operations environment. LGSTX, a subsidiary of
Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) , provides
comprehensive facility maintenance, material handling system management, and environmental services . This internship is ideal for students pursuing a degree in
Safety Management, Environmental Science, or Biology , offering opportunities to
conduct field inspections, review environmental permits, and assist with training programs . Key Responsibilities Perform
work area safety inspections
across various facilities Assist in the development of
training programs
related to safety and environmental compliance Collect and analyze
water samples
for compliance with environmental regulations Conduct
basic field measurements
and data analysis Review
permits and discharge limits
to ensure regulatory adherence Perform
creek inspections
and
aircraft deicing area inspections
to monitor environmental impact
Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to
work outdoors in varying weather conditions Capacity to
lift up to 20 lbs
when conducting fieldwork Strong
analytical thinking skills
for regulatory reviews and data interpretation Willingness to wear
basic personal protective equipment (PPE)
such as gloves and safety glasses
Preferred Skills & Experience Currently pursuing a degree in
Safety Management, Environmental Science, or Biology Familiarity with
environmental regulations and compliance procedures Experience or coursework in
data collection, auditing, or safety inspections
