Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to make an impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We're seeking a Temporary HR Generalist to join our team at the Round Lake Manufacturing Plant! This role is ideal for someone with expertise in leave management, accommodations, compliance, and employee relations who thrives in a fast-paced setting.
Temporary HR Generalist Responsibilities:
- Manage and process employee leaves while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws (FMLA, ADA, state regulations)
- Collaborate with managers to provide accommodations and foster an inclusive workplace
- Advise on employee relations matters, helping resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment
- Ensure compliance with HR-related regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate employee records in Workday while handling sensitive information with discretion
- Support HR initiatives, policies, and procedures that enhance workplace culture and efficiency
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and general HR functions as needed
Temporary HR Generalist Requirements:
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience with a strong background in leave management, compliance, and employee relations
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, and labor law compliance
- Experience working with HRIS systems (preferably Workday)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and work independently in a fast-paced setting
- No sensitivity to penicillin (as there may be exposure at the plant)
