ABOUT THE ROLE

Position Summary: All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. Mobile operators are given primary responsibility of performing all plant and quarry tasks that require the use of heavy mobile equipment. This person must have experience working with a drag line.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

1. Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies to ensure that environmental, health and safety are the first priority of the business.
2. Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility and assist the department as needed to improve EHS performance and results.
3. Interact with production and maintenance personnel to reduce and eliminate production interruptions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

1. High School Diploma.
2. Must pass all plant minimum required hiring qualifications.
3. Must have experience working with a drag line.
4. Must be willing to work holidays, weekends, various shifts and overtime as directed.
5. Demonstrated ability to operate mobile equipment.
6. Must possess basic computer skills.
7. Ability to navigate through an Aggregate plant, including climbing stairs and ladders, lifting heavy or awkward parts, and wearing personal protective equipment.
