www.rickengineering.com Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in surveying or related field. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in land surveying, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role. This role involves ensuring accurate data collection, conducting different types of surveys, and maintaining high standards of quality. Proficient with total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors. Strong understanding of survey principles and practices. Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and legal descriptions. Ability to read and interpret survey notes, maps, and construction plans. Ability and willingness to travel to various project sites. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, and moving objects of up to 50 pounds across various terrains. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA safety standards and regulations. A valid driver’s license is required. Additional Qualifications: Land Survey (LSI) certification. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other surveying software. Familiarity with local, state, and federal surveying regulations. Working Conditions: Work is performed primarily in outdoor environments, construction sites, roadways, and often in remote and rugged locations. Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, walking on uneven/steep terrain, and carrying equipment.
