$80,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Landis Architects | Builders is seeking a talented full-time Senior Interior Designer to craft beautiful environments for clients, mentor junior staff, and enhance our interior design services. Our process emphasizes creativity and independence, allowing designers to develop concepts and showcase their skills. We focus on the Design-Build approach, requiring extensive experience in design, specification, procurement, and installation of residential interiors, including FF&E/Interior Decorating. The role involves managing the expansion of Landis' FF&E/Interior Decorating business. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Collaborate with Architects/Project Designers on residential design/build projects, serving as the in-house Interior Designer and Lead Designer when appropriate. Develop schematic plans, interior elevations, and update plans with interior specifications using Chief Architect or Revit. Create client presentation materials and manage client selections via Design Files. Lead the interior design process, including client meetings and showroom visits. Partner with the Project Development team to ensure client satisfaction, develop contracts, and collaborate with construction for smooth project execution. Oversee logistics for furniture and decor ordering and installation. Mentor and train interior design staff. Ensure projects are completed within budget and timeline. Manage cabinetry orders, reviews, and quality control. Develop relationships with clients and vendors. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Residential Interior Designer Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field Proficiency in Chief Architect and Revit is a plus Strong skills in design concept development and documentation Experience with cabinetry, installation management, and troubleshooting Strong connections with local vendors and suppliers Proficiency in space planning, FF&E specifications, materials, and codes Experience with construction administration in residential and light commercial projects Excellent 3D rendering skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Valid work permit (USA) Progress toward NCIDQ Certification preferred but not required What We Offer Health, Dental, and Vision Plans Paid Vacation, Personal Time, and Holidays 401(k) Plan Employee parking Group Life Insurance Disability insurance Company Overview Established in 1990, Landis Architects | Builders is a full-service residential design/build firm specializing in high-end renovations.
