The
Law Offices of James F. Aspell, P.C.
is a high-performing Connecticut workers’ compensation firm — and we’re looking for a true pro to take the reins and help lead our practice. This isn’t an entry-level job. We’re hiring an
experienced, organized, and unflappable case manager
who knows Connecticut workers’ compensation law inside and out — and can keep both clients and junior staff on track. You must have: 5+ years of hands-on CT workers’ comp paralegal experience The ability to
supervise and mentor
two junior paralegals (under 1 year of experience each) Experience assigning and overseeing a full docket of cases with fairness and efficiency A cool head and
client-first mindset
to handle your own caseload of
10–20 complex, high-touch clients Be comfortable representing the firm at hearings throughout Connecticut This role reports directly to the managing attorney
(me) and you’ll be expected to take full ownership of your department’s performance and progress. You’re the right fit if you: Can build a calm, organized team under pressure Have a no-drama, no-excuses attitude Are ready to
lead, mentor, and manage
