Full-Time Lead Veterinarian - Urgently Hiring + Great Compensation + Sign-On Bonus - Jensen Beach, FL

A well-established, full-service companion animal hospital located on Jensen Beach is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to join its team. As the medical leader, the Lead Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment, and supporting the overall operational success of the hospital.

The hospital is open to candidates with strong leadership experience, as well as veterinarians who may have less experience but are eager to step into a leadership role. The team is passionate about mentorship and guiding the next generation of veterinary leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the clinical team to ensure the delivery of excellent medical care and efficient practice operations
• Work closely with the Practice Manager to manage staffing, scheduling, and meeting operational goals
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships within the practice, as well as with the local community
• Support the growth and development of support staff through the internal LevelUp training program
• Oversee a diverse caseload, including surgeries and appointments, while maintaining high medical standards
• Serve as the veterinarian of record for all necessary hospital permits and licenses
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to set and maintain medical protocols and ensure exceptional patient care

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active veterinary license in good standing, or the ability to obtain licensure in Florida
