Other Conditions: For placement in lecturer pool beginning Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate or graduate American Studies courses or equivalent.
- Other related duties, including preparing course syllabus, grading, maintaining weekly office hours.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in American Studies (or applicable field).
Desirable Qualifications:
- PhD in American Studies (or related field) or doctoral work in American Studies (or related field).
- Knowledge in appropriate field as evidenced by coursework.
- Prior relevant university teaching experience in the field.
- Training in and/or experience with online teaching.
