Litigation Secretary – Hybrid | Rockford, IL | $60K–$68K

A well-established law firm is seeking a Litigation Legal Secretary to support a busy team of attorneys. This hybrid role is based in Rockford, Illinois and is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with civil litigation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, edit, and e-file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Coordinate attorney calendars, deadlines, and travel
• Communicate with clients, courts, and legal teams
• Maintain case files and support trial preparation
• Participate in team workflow using legal tech platforms

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of litigation legal secretarial experience (civil defense preferred)
• Knowledge of state and federal court rules and e-filing procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal case management systems
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills

Salary: $60,000–$68,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Hybrid – Must be located in or near Rockford, IL
