Job Title: Lay Coach
Location: Liberty County Schools
Reports to: Head Coach
Position Type: Terms of Employment: Approved Coaching Supplement Scale

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be certified through the Georgia High Schools Athletic Association (GHSAA) to be a Community (Lay) Coach
- Must pass the Criminal Background check and meet all hiring requirements established by LCSS
- Knowledge of the technical aspects of sport applying to
- Experience coaching and playing the sport preferred
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find acceptable and appropriate
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Head Coach in specific aspects of an athletic program
- Provide instruction on skills and techniques
- Ability to communicate with team and parents
- Positive Role model to students
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach, Principal, or Superintendent of Schools
