The Lion Energy Sanctuary system is a solar energy storage solution designed to provide off-grid or backup power for homes, businesses, or remote locations. The Sanctuary system is part of Lion Energy's line of renewable energy products.
The ESS Support Technician will provide technical support to Lion Energy's Sanctuary installers and customers through various communication channels, including email, text, and phone. This position will also involve local service calls to resolve technical issues and providing hands-on training to certified Sanctuary installers. The ideal candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting, electrical systems, and effective communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: • Provide timely and accurate technical support to Sanctuary installers and customers via email, text, and phone. • Perform on-site support service calls to address system-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction. • Train and assist certified Sanctuary installers to ensure proper installation and troubleshooting of systems. • Document technical issues, solutions, and customer interactions for reference and follow-up. • Collaborate with the technical team to escalate complex issues and provide feedback on product improvements.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Proficient in using a multimeter for testing electrical components and systems. • Strong technical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create clear, well-worded emails and provide concise information to customers and installers. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to support the overall technical operation of the Sanctuary systems.
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • High School Diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum of two years of experience in technical support or a similar role, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving. • Experience with solar systems preferred. • Experience with battery systems preferred. • Previous electrical experience is preferred.
WORKING HOURS: • Full-time position with standard working hours. Occasional flexibility may be required for on-site support calls or urgent customer needs.
