Host Responsibilities
- Answer phones, take messages and reservations.
- Maintain accurate wait lists when necessary.
- Greet guests upon arrival and farewell to create a positive experience.
- Communicate effectively with guests and staff.
- Coordinate seating arrangements for efficient service.
- Assist with bussing tables as needed.
- Anticipate needs of special parties.
Qualifications
- At least one year of customer service or hosting experience.
- Fluent in English; additional languages preferred.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and staff.
- Ability to read, review, and understand seating charts.
- Basic math skills.
- Physical ability to carry items up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move about the venue safely.
