Division Director, Construction Management/Construction Inspection
Lozier, INC., a reputable engineering firm, is seeking a seasoned Division Director to lead our Construction Management/Construction Inspection (CM/CI) division, bringing their extensive experience managing projects exceeding $50 million. Experience with NYCDOT, NYSDOT, MTA, and DDC projects is highly preferred. This is a pivotal leadership position for a highly experienced professional. Responsibilities: Strategic Vision & Leadership:
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the CM/CI division's market presence. Project Oversight:
Provide expert oversight and direction for complex construction projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of highly skilled construction managers, inspectors, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Financial & Risk Management:
Oversee the division's financial performance, manage budgets, and implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate potential project challenges. Business Development & Growth:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your extensive network and industry expertise to secure major project wins. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in construction management and/or construction inspection. Demonstrated experience successfully managing projects exceeding $50 million. Proven track record of leadership and team development. Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
