For 85/hr, this team is seeking a Software Engineer to support Macro Execution Technology at Point 72. This strategic initiative involves developing robust C# applications for trade execution and processing. In this role, the engineer will spend the majority of their time coding, creating efficient and scalable software solutions. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining software, optimizing for performance, and staying updated with new technologies and trends. The engineer will write clean, reusable code and ensure the software meets high standards of quality and reliability. This role is crucial for bringing top-notch coding skills to financial development projects and supporting strategic initiatives.

Experience with fixed Income products such as bonds, swaps, CDS, FX, and futures - 5-10+ years of work experience with C# (For ex. multithreading, messaging, and scalable architectures) with knowledge of finance/banking - Deep understanding of SQL Server database (objects, optimization, and consistency) - Familiarity with messaging architectures, caching technologies, streaming and/or transaction processing systems - Expertise in the software development life cycle (Agile) and software development tools - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable with multi-tasking, context switching in a fast-paced environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills
