As a
Manager, Integration , you will lead a team of integration specialists and oversee the end-to-end execution of Applications and integration projects that align with business priorities. You will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders across Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, eCommerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and Finance to ensure seamless deployment of the new application capabilities and systems integration.
This role requires a strong technical foundation along with people management skills to guide and mentor the application development and integration team while ensuring the successful design, development, and deployment of technical solutions.

This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.
Responsibilities: Translate business needs into technical specifications and execute integration projects. Define integration requirements and priorities with business stakeholders. Manage stakeholder expectations by providing regular updates, reports, and status updates on integration projects. Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure seamless communication. Represent integration in leadership meetings, providing updates and insights. Lead and mentor the integration team, fostering collaboration and continuous learning. Manage resource allocation, balancing workload and priorities effectively. Drive accountability by setting clear goals and expectations. Partner with onshore and offshore teams for seamless project execution. Oversee project planning, architecture design, and implementation. Optimize integration processes for efficiency, scalability, and best practices. Proactively identify and resolve system integration challenges. Lead the transition to modern API-based and cloud-driven architecture. Participate in scrum meetings and ensure customer needs are being met by certifying deliverables. Ensure security best practices, including OAuth, SSL, and data encryption. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities. Stay updated on Dell Boomi advancements and other iPaaS technologies to drive innovation. Maintain the integrity and smooth functioning of the company's integration architecture. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience:
10+ years in Integration Development & Architecture, with at least 3+ years of team management experience. Boomi Expertise : 5+ years as a core integration technical lead or delivery lead using Dell Boomi. API Management:
3+ years of experience in API management and development. ETL Development:
3+ years of experience in ETL development and data transformation. EDI Development:
3+ years of experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) development. Team Leadership:
3+ years of experience managing teams, overseeing daily tasks, technical design, capacity planning, and project delivery. Offshore Team Management:
3+ years of experience coordinating with offshore teams, ensuring effective delegation, monitoring progress, and maintaining quality. Agile Execution:
3+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment, ensuring timely and iterative project execution. Strong Communication & Stakeholder Management:
Excellent skills in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing expectations. Technical Expertise:
Databases:
Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL databases, or similar. APIs & Web Services:
Proficiency in JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and ODATA. Integration & Middleware Platforms:
Strong hands-on experience with Dell Boomi. Programming Languages:
Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, or Groovy. EDI Standards:
Knowledge of X12 and EDIFACT formats. CI/CD Pipelines:
Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments. Security Best Practices:
Understanding of OAuth, SSL, and data encryption techniques for secure integrations. Certifications:
Boomi Integration Platform certifications preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Dell Boomi Certification (Professional or Architect level) is preferred. Experience in managing vendor relationships for integration solutions. Hands-on integration experience with enterprise applications such as SAP ECC, Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, Shopify, Workday, LDAP , SOCi , SAP CDC, SAP Marketing Cloud ,Dynamics 365 Service CRM, Oracle Service cloud , Oracle EPM, Salsify, Widen, HubSpot, Blue Yonder WMS, Bloomreach, Sage CRM, and Stripe. Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong understanding of REST API standards, including OpenAPI (Swagger) specifications. Familiarity with integration platforms, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP Process Integration (PI/PO), and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Additional Information
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $105,000 USD - $165,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
