Role Overview
The APC is an athlete accelerator dedicated to enabling Red Bull athletes and select non-Red Bull athletes to become outstanding performers. This role involves managing the Mental Performance support provided to athletes by the APC LA. Key Responsibilities
Conduct functional mental assessments and tests for top-level international athletes, analyze and interpret results, and recommend individualized mental training and coaching strategies. Establish, manage, and refer athletes to a network of mental health providers across North America. Develop the expertise of the Mental Performance practice at APC LA by managing key relationships with partners and fostering innovation. Leverage external networks to expand the reach and usage of APC services among elite athletes. Collaborate closely with the Global Mental Performance Team and liaise with the Head of Mental Performance to contribute to global strategies across Red Bull sport entities. Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in mental performance, sport psychology, or related fields. Proven track record in individual and team consultations with international athletes across various sports. Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. Experience managing a network of mental performance, health, and lifestyle experts. Experience working within interdisciplinary teams. Basic knowledge of sport science fields. Personal experience in competitive or elite sports is preferred. Excellent communication, professional attitude, and analytical skills. Familiarity with new technologies is preferred. Additional Details
