Our client, a global leader in sampling packaging solutions for the fragrance and cosmetic industry has an exciting opportunity available for a strong Sales Manager, New Business Development.
The business is headquartered in NJ with a global manufacturing footprint and production facilities in Europe, the US, Brazil and China. The products provide a full range of promotional sampling options in the Beauty Category, used for in-store distribution/events, magazine inserts, catalogues and direct mailing to customers or out-of-home sampling campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain strong sales pipelines and forecasts associated with substantiated opportunities Maintain an active schedule of face-to-face appointments and prospecting calls Review key sales accounts & new business opportunities monthly with manager Work closely with manufacturing facilities to ensure programs are delivered with the highest expectations Communicate brands needs and feedback to internal teams Responsible for sending pricing proposals to clients and negotiating contracts if necessary Work with VP Sales to target new business and create a yearly sales budget Present Quarterly Business Reviews to SVP of Sales & larger team Key emphasis on bringing in new business through varied avenues; Work within the Business Development team to implement new business growth strategy & achieve targeted team goals Strong activity in sales outreach by using tools such as Zoom Info, LinkedIn, inbound leads to build out pipeline. Track leads & analytics on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Initiate new business opportunities outside of the classic beauty space (ex. Health, wellness, etc.) ttend client meetings, trade shows & networking events - periodic travel when required Track leads & new business in CRM
Skills & experience
Bachelor's Degree Minimum of two (2) years' experience in sales in the beauty, fragrance, or Client industry preferred Strong track record of bringing in new business Entrepreneurial and independent, willing to be creative Negotiation skills Strong presentation skills Excellent communication skills: verbal and written Positive attitude
