The Role
Mapletree is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing SD-WAN, network switches, firewall and performing network BAU (Business As Usual) tasks. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, thorough knowledge of network administration, and a passion for maintaining secure and efficient networks.
Job Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage functional networks (LAN, WLAN, SDWAN, Firewalls). Configure, install and manage various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS). Monitor network performance and ensure optimal speed and functionality. Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues, providing timely resolutions. Manage and optimize in-house and cloud-based networks in Azure and Alibaba Cloud. Develop and implement network security protocols to protect data, software, and hardware. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations. Plan for and respond to service outages and other network problems. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks. Job Requirements
5+ years' relevant experience working in a technical support capacity. Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator. Professional certification (e.g., CCNP) is preferred. In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF). Familiarity with access control models and network security. Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g., Python, Perl) is a plus. Knowledge of VMware and Operating System (Windows Server 2019, 2022, etc) is a plus Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds network tools). Solid understanding of network operating systems (e.g. Cisco IOS). Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently. BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation Data
The annual base compensation range for this role sits between: $90,000 - $110,000
This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Mapletree. Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including previous work experience, specific industry experience, relevant skills, training and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. In addition to salary and a competitive employee benefits package, candidates may also be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
