Mechanic Electrician ! This full-time, temp-to-hire positions offer excellent benefits once hired permanently.
Job Description: Day Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm
Pay:
$38/hour
Purpose:
Oversees maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all production and supporting equipment. This position reports to the Maintenance & Production Supervisor
Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance on a variety of equipment, including ironworkers, saws, threaders, forklifts, steam boilers, cranes, overhead doors, exhaust fans, galvanizer lines, and wheelabrator/rotoblasters. Troubleshoot and repair basic facility issues, troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues, including minor plumbing.. Schedule outside vendors for building and equipment repairs. Order necessary chemicals, lubricants, and repair equipment. Install and commission new equipment. Perform other maintenance tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Certified Electrician Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience. Prior experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance. Preferred certifications: Millwright or Electrician. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong mechanical aptitude. Physical ability to lift 75 pounds, stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Valid driver's license.
