Summary
As a Sales Support Representative at Metalcraft, Inc., you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer experience by providing exceptional support throughout the sales process. This position is integral to our mission of empowering customers with effective ID technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities: (What will I be doing in this role?) Collaborating with Territory Reps
on large opportunities of all of our products, especially our RFID products, and acting as a resource to drive sales growth. Provide technical expertise
and assist with presentations, developing tailored solutions to meet customer needs. Communicate
with partners and Territory Reps via phone, mail, email, and personal calls, offering timely information, resolving issues, and advising technical inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert
in all products, with a strong focus on RFID, staying updated on the latest technologies, industry trends, and product specifications, and providing training to the team. Utilize CRM
to add value to partners and Metalcraft. You'll maintain accurate records, track interactions, and generate reports to support decision-making. Cultivate new relationships
and transfer leads to Territory Reps. Identify potential clients, establish initial contact, and facilitate a seamless transition to the sales team. Collaborate with the Business Development team
on industry, association, and partner requests to identify new business opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships. Support Metalcraft at trade shows
alongside Territory Reps and Marketing. Help set up booths, engage attendees, and demonstrate our products' capabilities. Work with the marketing team
on sales initiatives, including designing promotional content, crafting marketing plans, and evaluating campaign success. Work with engineers
on key projects and product development. You'll collaborate on designing new products, improving existing ones, and ensuring they meet customer requirements. Stay current
on industry and vendor specifications. You'll continuously monitor changes in the market and adjust strategies accordingly. Handle special projects
assigned by the VP of Sales. You'll take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the sales team and company goals. Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Sales or Marketing or equivalent experience. Experience:
3-5 years of sales experience, with a focus on RFID. Skills:
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Salesforce. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and work in a team atmosphere. Special Job Characteristics:
