The City of Midwest City is currently accepting applications for Part Time Sports Complex Attendant in the Parks and Recreation department. The Sports Field Complex Attendant will report to the Parks and Recreation Supervisor and the Sports Field Maintenance Supervisor and will work with other members of the crew to maintain the surfaces of the athletic playing fields, both natural grass and artificial turf, and assist with daily ball field preparation.

The Sports Complex Attendant will be required to work on-site, primarily outdoors and in the morning or afternoon, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include:

1. Ability to use light power equipment and hand tools.
2. Ability to collaborate and create positive working relationships.
3. Motivated and punctual, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
4. Ability to communicate effectively.
5. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
6. Ability to walk to and from the different fields.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
2. Experience in golf course and/or turf maintenance preferred.
3. Must have valid Oklahoma Driver's License and be insurable.
4. Must be 18 years of age or older.

This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening. Starting salary: $12.4768-$13.9983/hr. Seasonal - NO Benefits.
