Insight Global is seeking a qualified Top-Secret MBSE in support of one of are large federal clients at Wright Patterson, AFB. This candidate will be supporting an aerial networking system of systems that enables advanced communications between tactical data links and facilitates the transfer of data across different security levels for various message sets. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:
• Lead the creation and maintenance of the government-owned SysML/CAMEO model, DoDAF views, and interface-control documents (ICDs) that capture Nomad-Smith-Watch interactions with the Digital Infrastructure (DI), SATCOM links, and cross-domain solutions.
• Elicit, decompose, and manage stakeholder needs in DOORS-NG (or equivalent); chair requirements reviews, delta boards, and configuration-control boards. Maintain the Technical Baseline and drive change packages through digital workflows, preserving model/document synchronization.
• Partner with IPT leads to translate digital designs into Integration SIL builds; resolve cross-domain, crypto, power, and data-bus interface issues quickly. Feed lessons learned back into the model, ensuring the next sprint starts with an accurate baseline.
• Collaborate with Test & Flight-Test teams to develop the Verification Cross-Reference Matrix (VCRM).
• Maintain the technical risk register, conduct root-cause analyses, and brief burn-down plans to senior DAF leadership. Feed schedule, maturity, and performance metrics into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and digital dashboards.
• Coach mid-level engineers on MBSE best practices, Agile/SAFe workflows, and DevSecOps culture in a classified environment.
• Foster a collaborative, “model-first” mindset across government and industry teammates.
Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of systems engineering experience in DoD C5ISR, avionics, or open-architecture programs, including requirements management, architecture, and systems integration.
• Active TS clearance with eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI.
• Proficient in Systems Modeling Language (SysMIL) modeling tools such as CAMEO, Rhapsody, or equivalent as well as requirements databases (DOORS, Jama).
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and manage technical baselines in a digital-engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of MIL-STD avionics power, data links (Link-16/22, TTNT, OMS/UCI), SATCOM, Type-1 crypto, and RMF/IA compliance.

• Masters Degree with 6-10 years of experience in DoD C5ISR, avionics, or open-architecture programs, including requirements management, architecture, and systems integration.
