What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the design process for our SaaS platforms, from concept to launch, using Figma for wireframing and prototyping.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user engagement and drive product adoption.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to define product requirements and translate them into design solutions.
• Utilize your front-end development skills to implement and refine UI components.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate on product improvements.
• Maintain and evolve the design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across the SaaS products.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SaaS design and front-end development.
• Creation of high/low-fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes.
• Ensure that designs are responsive and accessible.

What We're Looking For

• Must be located in Southeast Michigan for in-person collaboration sessions with the larger team and in-person client project reviews.
• 5+ years of experience in user interface design, with a strong focus on SaaS applications.
• Expert proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and design system management.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, psychology, and best practices (including accessibility).
• Experience with data visualization and dashboard design.
• An understanding of front-end development to implement and refine UI components.
• Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
• A portfolio of your own that demonstrates your ability to design complex SaaS interfaces and solve user problems.
• Communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with design systems.

Bonus Points

• Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks such as NextJs.
• Experience with mobile app design.
• Understanding of backend architecture.
