NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time BIM Coordinator in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Job Summary
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) Projects.
Produce and update electrical power and lighting drawings as required for install.
Produce and update electrical power and lighting drawings as required for design.
Manages project work and assigns BIM Technicians work as needed
Responsible for project schedules between BIM, Field, Trimble, and Prefab
Collaborate with internal teams, managers, and external clients to deliver CAD/BIM support.
Conduct on-site walkthroughs and inspections as needed.
Qualifications Minimum 2 years recent experience in BIM coordination, construction experience preferred Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and ACC Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and customer service support skills Familiarity with Evolve Electrical add-ins is a plus Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) is preferred Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and complex technical documents Strong time management Strong organizational skills Attention to detail with the ability to manage tasks across multiple projects Analytical mindset for reading and understanding specifications and submittals Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.
