Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading hospital in Rock Hill, SC, to find a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP). As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care to critically ill newborns. You will be an integral part of a dedicated team, working in a state-of-the-art Level III NICU to deliver high-quality, family-centered care.
Responsibilities: Neonatal Care: Provide comprehensive care to newborns in the NICU, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Procedures: Assist with and perform procedures such as intubation, ventilation, and line placements. Education: Educate parents and families about their newborn's condition, treatment plan, and ongoing care needs. NBN Coverage: Provide newborn care in the Newborn Nursery as part of your responsibilities. Qualifications:
Required:
Master's Degree in Nursing with a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specialization. Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC). Current and unrestricted RN license in South Carolina. 2+ years of recent NNP experience in a Level III or IV NICU (excluding RN experience).
Schedule:
Full-Time: 7-8 shifts per month, 24-hour shifts. Locations: Work at both hospital sites for scheduling flexibility. Why Join Us?
