New Tech Global is currently seeking a Recruiter for an oil & gas client in Northwest Houston, TX. This position provides a hybrid schedule.
This position requires recruiting in support of office/professional roles that include IT, Accounting/Finance, Supply chain, Admin, and HR.
Detailed Description:
- Work with company HR and Talent Acquisition to develop and deliver effective recruiting support in a high volume, fast paced environment for rig-based and field positions
- Work with company HR teams to open and post jobs
- Source, screen and phone interview applicants that meet the Company's requirements and job-related qualifications
- Schedule qualified candidates for in person interviews for designated regions
- Conduct regular follow-up with regional HR on status of candidates and positions
- Process and disposition applicants utilizing the Company's applicant tracking system and in compliance with established processes
- Effectively use job boards, social and professional networking sites and other sources to find candidates
- Research and recommend new sources for recruitment
- Provide reports to management on recruiting activity, metrics and statistics, including reporting for EEO and related recordkeeping purposes
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates in advance of need
- Attend job fairs and regional hiring events as needed
- Administrative duties or other duties as assigned
- Ability to quickly review applicant qualifications and conduct phone screens in a high volume, fast paced, and dynamic work environment
- Self-starter, outgoing and motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Strong people skills, enjoys talking on the phone with the ability to be persuasive and have a sales and influencing personality
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as knowledge and experience with business systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills which include the ability to speak, write and listen in a manner that clarifies issues, promotes closure and delivers information in a clear and concise manner and facilitates good decision-making
- Ability to maintain Company and employee confidentiality at all times and handles sensitive employee information and protect Company proprietary information in an appropriate manner
- Ability to travel as needed to attend job fairs, regional offices, hiring events, military bases, and visit rig locations which may occasionally require travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) outside normal office area
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment in HR, recruiting, customer service, sales or similar field
- 5+ years of experience recruiting preferably a mix of corporate and agency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience Recruiting for office and professional positions
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, Oracle Recruiting Cloud
- Experience in the Oil and Gas/onshore drilling or services Industry
