are a compassionate and patient-focused professional dedicated to improving healthcare access for Marin County's most vulnerable populations. You excel in dynamic environments, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, cultural competency, and a proactive approach to assisting underserved individuals. San Rafael : Full time (On-site) Temp to Hire This Position Pays:
$26-$27/hr What You Will Be Doing: Assess patient needs and connect them with medical, behavioral health, and social services, including financial assistance, housing, and shelter. Bilingual a must. Provide referrals and facilitate access to Ritter Center and Marin County's Safety Net services. Assist patients with paperwork and address barriers to care, such as transportation, insurance, and language. Educate patients on available services and provide guidance to reduce anxiety about care. What You Bring: Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. 1-2 years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or social services. Experience working with low-income, unhoused, or substance abuse populations. Proficiency in computer applications and the ability to learn new systems. Compliance with OSHA and public health vaccination requirements, including TB, COVID-19, and Influenza (unless exempt).
