The Washington, D.C. office is seeking a Legal Executive Assistant with experience supporting government officials, policy advisors, or attorneys. We are looking to add a proactive team player with a “can-do” attitude to our corporate team. This is a position supporting a collaborative team with exposure to multiple areas of law and policy.
This position does have the potential for hybrid flexibility.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Legal Executive Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, updating, and tracking business development documents, Excel spreadsheets, and contact lists to ensure our data is current and organized. You will monitor and manage email communications, schedules, and calendars with precision, coordinating with both internal teams and external clients to schedule meetings and organize events seamlessly. You will also be assisting with deal closings, new client intake, file maintenance, document editing and formatting, travel coordination, expense reimbursement, and monthly client billing.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You have experience supporting government officials, policy advisors, or attorneys and exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as an understanding that following-up and following-through keep a team running smoothly. You're able to prioritize and adjust as new needs come up. You always subscribe to a high level of professionalism and communication. You understand that supporting multiple professionals’ means being quick to re-prioritize when needed, having strong attention to detail, and always putting an emphasis on organization. A four-year college degree is a requirement for this role.
