A home security company is looking to hire a Cloud Network Engineer on a 6-month contract to hire basis. They seek a seasoned professional proficient in GCP, AWS, or Azure networking, load balancers, and firewalls. The candidate should be capable of designing, developing, documenting, and implementing enterprise network technologies across a hybrid environment. Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco routing, and F5 load balancers is preferred. This position is hybrid, 6 months contract to hire, located in Irving, TX. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. Experience with F5 or similar technologies. 8+ years in IT network engineering, including LAN, wireless, WAN, SD-WAN, and routing protocols. Hands-on experience deploying and managing enterprise-grade network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks, dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and VLAN configurations. Proven expertise in designing secure and scalable network solutions across multiple vendors such as Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Juniper, and Aruba. Desired Skills & Experience CCNA, CCNP, or Cloud certification. Palo Alto certification.
