The Senior Warehouse Manager leads and manages activities related to the functioning of the warehouse and distribution in order to meet or exceed customer expectations and to achieve facility and company goals for operating revenue, growth, and service. In addition, the warehouse manager establishes and maintains effective relationships with their staff, customer contacts, internal Noatum support groups, carriers, and other vendors.

The Senior Warehouse Manager leads and manages activities related to the functioning of the warehouse and distribution in order to meet or exceed customer expectations and to achieve facility and company goals for operating revenue, growth, and service. In addition, the warehouse manager establishes and maintains effective relationships with their staff, customer contacts, internal Noatum support groups, carriers, and other vendors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for warehouse profit and loss.
- Implement standardized operational procedures and performance expectations and measurements including creating and maintaining warehouse processes and procedures.
- Hire, train, and manage team to ensure safe and efficient environment.
- Develop the master labor schedule.
- Manage both freight forwarding and direct to consumer (eCommerce, pick/pack, distribution etc.) activities.
- Responsible for space optimization, accuracy, and damage-free performance.
- Set daily and shift priorities to meet customer and internal KPI's.
- Coordinate workload between shifts and set expectations for team leaders.
- Implement and monitor process improvement and safety programs.
- Follow all TSA and customs regulations.
- Handle and develop distribution services.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver high productivity with team spirit.
- Ensure a safe work environment and work practices.
- Support the Branch Manager on metrics for the site.
- Balance cost, quality, and efficiency, while providing a team-based, collaborative work environment.
- Responsible for site ownership for safety training and safety performance.
- Responsible for site ownership of vendor compliance.
- Knowledge of hazardous material, cool chain, distribution services.
Minimum requirements
- The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience managing a large, high volume distribution center of a freight forwarder, with a focus in exports, customs, and TSA regulations .
- Must have relevant experience managing staff, tight KPI's, timelines, and budgets.
- A hands-on, approachable leader who knows how to organize, prioritize, and schedule work.
- Process, quality, employee development, and performance management skills.
- Strong working knowledge of PC and business applications (including interfaces, EDI, barcoding, scanning, statistics, and Microsoft Office applications).
- Knowledge and experience in warehouse methods, equipment, and WMS systems.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish
- 3PL experience and demonstrated ability to interact with clients preferred.
- Strong leadership experience and the ability to motivate a team is a must.

- Technology: CargoWise, Power BI, VeraCore, Top Shelf systems
