North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for Manufacturing Engineers to join our Manufacturing Facility based in Muscle Shoals, AL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, designing, and implementing assembly processes to ensure new product designs can be manufactured.

Your Priorities

1. While working within the fast paced, automotive environment, you will provide day to day technical support for the assembly process in our plant.
2. Maximize efficiency by analyzing assembly line layouts, workflow, assembly methods, change-over-fixturing, gauges, work-in-process storage, and tool storage.
3. Develop advanced product quality planning (APQP) requirements, including process failure mode and effect analysis, process flow charts, and process design sheets.
4. Identify process equipment load requirements, tooling and equipment requirements, and the need to implement new processes, and communicate to all appropriate team members.
5. Address internal and external customer complaints, conduct investigations, develop root cause analysis, determine countermeasures, and document using NAL problem solving method.

Your Background

1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
2. 2+ years of related engineering experience.
3. Technical understanding of statistics, inspection, testing, dimensional layouts, specifications interpretation, and report writing in a manufacturing environment.

Salary Range: $85,000-$90,000
