Base pay range
$99,260.00/yr - $146,905.00/yr

Position Overview
This role involves developing and maintaining the asset management framework for proactive lifecycle asset management in the wastewater division, based on sound risk management principles.
Major Responsibilities
- Lead and support the development of an Asset Management program across departments.
- Manage assigned projects as project lead.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure consistent asset management practices.
- Develop policies and methodologies to prevent and mitigate operational risks.
- Evaluate infrastructure condition and reliability to identify risks and prioritize mitigation strategies.
- Share best practices across facilities and utilities.
- Serve as an asset management coach within the wastewater division.
- Assist in preparing capital budgets aligned with asset management goals.
- Stay updated on asset management trends and apply them appropriately.
- Generate operational and regulatory reports monthly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience with asset management principles and maintenance systems.
- Proficiency in technical report writing, data management, and software tools.
- Understanding of water/wastewater principles.
- Decision-making skills balancing technology and data.
- Leadership qualities, flexibility, and effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of lifecycle asset management including planning, design, maintenance, and decommissioning.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering preferred, with 10+ years of experience or 20+ years in maintenance management.
- At least 3 years in asset or maintenance management.
- Experience with water/wastewater treatment asset management preferred.
- Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience with budgeting and technical document interpretation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Valid Texas Drivers License required.
Environmental Factors
Moderate physical activity required; exposure to weather and use of protective equipment possible. Equipment used includes vehicles, computers, GPS, and safety gear.
