Description NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center, a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary medical clinic and human services agency, is seeking a Radiology Technologist who is open to performing multiple imaging modalities and EKGs and enjoys working with a dedicated team of professionals committed to partnering to create a healthier community. In this position, you will perform mammogram screenings, general radiology exams, bone density testing (DEXA) and EKGs. Location and hours: This position is located at the NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center at 2220 Plymouth Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55411. Work hours will typically be Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. except for Tuesdays which will be 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Hours may vary based on clinic needs and an occasional Saturday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., will be required. New Employee Orientation (NEO) for all new benefit-earning employees is in-person in downtown Minneapolis. Details about NEO will be provided upon hire. About this position type:

In this position, you will:
Perform general radiography, screening mammography, EKG, bone density testing (DEXA), and Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) testing. Demonstrate correct anatomic positioning and exposure factors relating to area-specific exams. Assist radiology front desk coordinator with scheduling patients. Perform accurate data entry. Perform image management via PACS, (burn CD's or electronic push) for continuing care. Assist with the management of forms for guests who are enrolled in the Minnesota Department of Health Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (Sage). Trouble-shoot malfunctioning equipment and inform and communicate with appropriate personnel. Perform downtime procedures when computer systems or equipment is offline or fails. Embrace and utilize the AAA principals in daily interactions with others. Need to have:
Completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved two-year American Medical Association course in radiologic technology. Possession of certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in general radiology ARRT(R). Must obtain MQSA Initial Qualifications to perform screening mammograms within 6 months of employment. Nice to have:
Experience:
Performing screening mammograms and/or bone densitometry (DEXA) exams. Using the Epic Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. Providing customer service both in person and via telephone.
Fluency in another language(s) in addition to English. Knowledge of
Image analysis QA prior to sending images for reading. Picture archiving and communication system (PACS). Radiology Information Systems (RIS). Radiation safety. Proper use of radiology equipment for optimal exposure factors.
