The Chenango Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking a board certified/eligible Family Medicine physician for a full or part-time core faculty position. Join our dynamic team that is founding a new rural program at a community hospital affiliated with SUNY Upstate Medical University, an academic medical center. Our residency is planned to be a 2-2-2 resident program serving the local area.
New graduates are welcome to apply, and mentoring is available from experienced faculty.
Our mission is to develop highly competent and compassionate Family Physicians providing innovative evidence-based care to a historically marginalized and underrepresented patient population. We serve rural communities in Upstate New York. Position Highlights
Full or part-time inpatient and outpatient practice Mentoring available from experienced faculty Flexible clinical schedules Emphasis on faculty educational responsibilities over clinical productivity Competitive salary and benefits package with paid time off Epic EMR platform system-wide As a 501(c)3 not-for-profit, position eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Located in the Southern Tier region of New York State, Chenango County is known for its warm and welcoming communities, rural quality of life, and four seasons of natural beauty. Chenango maintains a rich agricultural heritage as well as a long history of innovation across industries. The county’s rolling hills are dotted with dairy farms and other agricultural producers whose wares can be found in grocery stores, local farmers markets, roadside stands, and as far away as the New York City green market system.
