The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality patient care to all patients in collaboration with other staff members to ensure that all patient needs are met. To provide care based on physical, psycho/social, and educational appropriate to all ages of patients. To practice medical services as directed by the supervision physicians as long as they are within the scope of practice for the RN/APRN. The nurse practitioner will always abide by the standards and laws governing their certifications. It is the responsibility of the nurse practitioner to keep all certifications and licenses current at all times.
Requirements
Current Louisiana State Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Family Nurse Practitioner ANCC or AANPCP Certified for Family Practice Current BLS, PALS and ACLS Certification Eligible for Louisiana Prescriptive Authority Effective communication and leadership skills Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment
