Are you a skilled heavy equipment mechanic looking to join a dynamic team in the construction industry? Oban Construction Inc. in South Sioux City, NE is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to fill our Heavy Equipment/Truck Mechanic position.
Job Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance on heavy construction equipment and trucks
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conducting thorough inspections of equipment to identify any potential problems
- Keeping accurate records of repairs and maintenance schedules
- Ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a heavy equipment or truck mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
