Full-time Nurse Practitioner Needed at Crossroad Pain and Orthopedics in Brooklyn, NY
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work within the outpatient practice under the management of the Chief Nurse Practitioner and the Medical Director within the Division of Orthopedics.
The NP will work collaboratively with Physicians, NP peers, Registered Nurses, other members of the multidisciplinary care team, and administrative support staff.
The successful candidate will be trained in outpatient Orthopedics including Pain Management Clinic, Electrophysiology, Arrhythmia, Stress Testing, and more.
Both experienced and newer graduate Nurse Practitioners with prior Orthopedics-related inpatient or outpatient experience will be considered.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Work alongside Orthopedics team members.
Manage patients with Hypertension and High Cholesterol.
Provide outpatient Electrophysiology services for patients with arrhythmias and device management.
Manage acute conditions such as Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Artery Disease, Heart Failure, VHD, Stroke/Transient Ischemic Attack, etc.
Perform Stress Testing as needed.
Receive consultation and supervision from on-site Orthopedics.
Conduct history taking and exams, prescribe medications as required or directed.
Refer patients to specialists within the group as necessary.
Provide education to patients and families.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program relevant to the department (e.g., OB/GYN, Pediatrics) and passing the certification exam.
Master’s or doctoral degree.
Current license and certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
Work Schedule & Benefits:
Monday - Friday (9 am - 5 pm)
No calls, nights, or weekends
