SUMMARY Champion Homes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced PTC Windchill Solution Architect to design, implement, and support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions based on PTC Windchill. This role requires expertise in Windchill's architecture, data model, and integrations, with a strong focus on optimizing solutions for business efficiency and scalability. The Solution Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Windchill solutions meet client needs and industry best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the design and architecture of PTC Windchill solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of the construction industry. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient Windchill solutions. Conduct detailed assessments of current PLM systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization using Windchill. Provide guidance and expertise on Windchill modules, including CAD integration, BOM management, change management, document management, and workflow automation. Design integration strategies with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, MES) to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency. Develop and maintain technical documentation for architecture, system design, configurations, and customizations. Lead the implementation of Windchill solutions, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Provide ongoing support for the deployment and maintenance of Windchill systems, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system upgrades. Collaborate with developers, system admins, and testers to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation process. Stay updated with the latest advancements in PTC Windchill and related technologies, contributing to continuous improvement in solution delivery. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years' experience as a Solution Architect with a strong background in PTC Windchill. Expertise in PTC Windchill architecture, data modeling, and core functionality. Hands-on experience in Windchill customizations, configuration, and integrations with external systems (ERP, MES, etc.). Strong understanding of PLM processes, CAD integration, BOM management, and change management. Experience with Windchill's REST APIs, workflows, and business logic. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and lead projects while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. Experience with Agile methodologies. Experience in cloud-based solutions and platforms. Familiarity with PTC ThingWorks.
