Customer Experience Consultant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Experience Consultant to support our National Account customers. In this key role, you will leverage your expertise in health insurance benefits and processes to ensure accurate quoting, seamless installation, and thorough auditing for our valued clients within an assigned market. This is a seasonal, fully remote position that plays a vital role in our Sales and Account Management operations, although it is not a client-facing role .
Responsibilities:
- Utilize regional benefit expertise to accurately quote National Account customers.
- Apply regional process knowledge to confirm and facilitate the smooth installation of services for National Account customers.
- Conduct meticulous audits of National Account customer accounts within the assigned market to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Apply strong analytical skills to review and interpret complex benefit information.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, adhering to consistent process management.
- Manage multiple high-priority tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the quoting, installation, and auditing processes.
- Demonstrate technical aptitude by working comfortably with various systems and tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration, or a related degree OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of account service experience and/or case installation/implementation within the health insurance industry.
- Prior project/program management experience.
- Technical experience in one or more of the following areas: provider billing, claims administration, provider relations, provider contracting, revenue cycle finance, or data analytics.
- Knowledge of the health insurance market.
- Knowledge of health plan administration and operational needs for complex health insurance products, including self-funding and private exchange.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Word programs.
- Technically savvy - comfortable working with a diverse number of systems and tools.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Able to manage multiple high-demanding priorities.
- Comfortable working within a team environment that requires consistent process management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Four (4) years of account service experience and/or case installation/implementation within the health insurance industry.
- One (1) year of group insurance experience.
- Working knowledge of underwriting processes, healthcare products, and contracts.
- Knowledge of current/future trends and changes in healthcare/health insurance laws/regulations.
- Working knowledge of our organization and the products offered.
- Familiarity with internal systems such as CM (Common Membership), FASET, or SPAS.
- 3-5 years of related experience.

Hours/Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Fully Remote Position).
