Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager
to help power the growth and retention of our personal lines book of business.
In this pivotal role, you'll be the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for our clients and carrier partners. You'll manage policy renewals, assist with policy issuance and remarketing efforts, and ensure our compliance standards remain top-tier-all while helping our customers get the coverage they need.

Essential
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain retention rate established by management by proactively reaching out to clients, conducting ongoing account reviews for designated book of business, effectively working with new and existing clients on their policies and educating clients about the benefits of having Capitol Agency relationship.
Sell new business for the agency and generate referrals for personal lines and other departments.
Review accounts when clients call in and work to improve coverage both through endorsements and coverage increases.
Provide outstanding inbound service on claims, billing questions and endorsements.
Consistently share the agency's referral program with clients.
Conducts account reviews and audits on new business files.
Maintains a positive attitude and efficient work ethic.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Experience
Minimum one to three years of similar or related experience.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Currently possess or must obtain Kansas/Missouri Property & Casualty License and Kansas/Missouri Life & Health License. CISR, CIC or other insurance related designations are preferred. Must have a valid driver's license.
Skills
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
