Board-certified/board eligible physician with an MD or DO from an accredited institution. Fellowship trained in Rheumatology. Must demonstrate sensitivity to the culture, needs, and aspirations of the diverse community we serve. The candidate should possess qualifications for appointment to the faculty at the assistant professor level or higher from Rowan University. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and a track record of educational and scholarly activity. Medical student and fellowship education are core requirements of the position. Research infrastructure including a department research coordinator and research fellows is available to pursue academic interests. Located in Camden, CUHC is just across the river from Philadelphia. In the past three years, major institutions like the American Water, Campbell Soup Company, Holtec International, Rutgers University, The Philadelphia 76ers, and Cooper have invested nearly $2 billion toward large-scale projects in Camden, which could create upwards of 1,000 new, permanent full- or part-time jobs in the city.
