Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring for an Administrative Assistant in Richland, WA.
This position will support Navarro-ATL, which operates the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL includes Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of routine to complex secretarial and administrative functions in accordance with company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Collect, analyze, and compile data from various sources; prepare correspondence, memos, reports, and maintain files.
- Assist with tracking budgets related to department operations, programs, and expenditures.
- Maintain effective communication and cooperate with management and staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle sensitive confidential information appropriately.
Additional Responsibilities
- Manage building administration tasks such as greeting visitors, arranging maintenance, managing furniture needs, and emergency preparedness.
- Inventory office supplies and maintain staff schedules.
- Update employee information and prepare various communications and reports.
- Support records management, create filing systems, and maintain property inventories.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and support company activities.
- Assist with employee timecard submissions and assessments.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma and 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Experience supporting Hanford Contractor administrative functions is preferred.
Compensation
Grade 4: $44,163 - $55,688
Grade 5: $48,600 - $61,300
The final grade level will depend on the candidate's qualifications and business needs.
