Are you passionate about human resources, adept at data analysis, and skilled in training and development? Pooling Resources, Inc. (dba POOL/PACT HR), a unique nonprofit organization, is seeking an HR Analyst to join our team and make a meaningful impact in supporting the organization's HR operations and training initiatives.
Position Overview: Under the general supervision of the General Manager or Training Manager, the HR Analyst will perform specialized HR administrative functions and support HR Business Partners in providing HR consultation and training. This role requires an adaptable, proactive professional ready to engage in a range of HR responsibilities, with opportunities to support various projects and initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities of the HR Analyst position include:
Training & Development:
- Assist the Training Manager with needs assessments and course modifications.
- Evaluate training program effectiveness and recommend new delivery modes.
- Maintain and update the training catalog and develop annual training value reports.
HR Consultation:
- Serve as backup for HR Business Partners, providing strategic advice and consultation on HR matters.
- Conduct in-person and virtual training on HR-related topics and regional programs.
- Lead marketing efforts for HR initiatives, including updating HR-related website content.
Research & Analysis:
- Track and summarize HR-related legislation and conduct research on various HR assignments.
- Develop written documents on HR issues, including policies, briefings, and member alerts.
- Assist members in policy development and interpretation of personnel policies, CBAs, and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public or Personnel Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field;
- Three years of experience as an HR Assistant or comparable position.
- Understanding of public-sector HR administration, adult learning theory, and HR legislation.
- Strong skills in data analysis, business writing, and effective communication with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in HR software and general computer applications.
- Two years of formal in-person and virtual facilitation/training experience.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Customer-service orientation.
- Passion to facilitate instructor-led training.
- Familiarity with rural Nevada.
Our competitive salary starts at $30 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications. Our incredible benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as 18 days PTO accrued the first year plus 12 paid holidays, and employer-paid SEP IRA after one year.
The HR Analyst will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with occasional evenings and weekends and is required to travel up to 25% of the time throughout rural Nevada, with some travel outside of the state.
