TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the development and delivery of ARNP services at Prairie Ridge Integrated Behavioral Healthcare Perform primary care duties to include; history and physical, order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests, prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities, implement interventions, monitor effectiveness of interventions. Engage in activities necessary for effective documentation, coding, authorization, and billing of services, in compliance with generally accepted medical standards. Collaborate and coordinate care with Prairie Ridge team to treat patients' physical health in the outpatient setting. Understand and utilize Medication Assisted Treatment in the treatment of substance use disorders. Participate in research as requested. Monitor and initiate processes which promote cost effective and efficient delivery of care. Demonstrate understanding and adherence to all CARF, HIPPA, and 42 CFR, part 2 policies and procedures. Participate in activities identified as necessary for the development and implementation of coordinated care at Prairie Ridge. Other duties as defined by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Current Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Iowa. Ability to prescribe in the state of Iowa. Supportive of the mission of Prairie Ridge and the patients we serve. Proficiency in oral and written communication skills, as well as documentation requirements. Technology skills allowing for proficiency in use of electronic health record.
