Role Summary - Principal / Senior Mechanical Engineer (Honolulu, HI): Our Client is recruiting for a Principal / Senior Mechanical Engineer with Mission Critical Design experience to join their Honolulu team in a hybrid role. The position allows professionals to work from home while occasionally attending the office or client sites as needed. The firm supports career development and provides an environment that promotes learning, creativity, and leadership growth. As Principal / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, your role is to lead mechanical design projects across various industries, involving technical oversight, team leadership, and client engagement. Duties:
Lead MEP mechanical design projects for commercial, medical, education, transportation, hospitality, and retail sectors. Oversee (EOR) mechanical drawings, sketches, analysis, specifications, and calculations. Provide leadership and mentorship to mechanical design staff. Conduct construction administration and site observations for assigned projects. Develop and maintain business relationships with new and existing clients. 10-15 years' experience in positions of increasing leadership in the commercial A/E engineering field. Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems in healthcare, educational, and commercial sectors. Working knowledge of Autodesk REVIT, Trace 700, and/or Energy Plus Modelling is desirable. LEED Accreditation will be an advantage. Benefits:
