Eight days a month, team members come together in the closest office within 50 miles to experience the value of connecting with colleagues. You will report to the Manager, CX / UX Design, and work under the leadership of the Director, CX / UX Design. This role is part of DXG | UX / CX COE - Wolters Kluwer DXG U.S., Inc. | Please view the site office location directory for potential office preferences nationwide. Required Job Qualifications (minimum) : Travel: Domestic travel up to 5% of work time to customers, vendors, and other work groups. Must be legally authorized to work in the USA permanently. Proficiency in Figma, Miro, and Asana or similar design tools. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS, LESS, Angular, React, Bootstrap. 2+ years of experience as a User Interface Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role. Strong visual design sense, familiarity with branding standards across a portfolio of software products. Experience and knowledge of design paradigms, best practices with web software applications. Strong knowledge of Lean UX / Agile methodologies. Knowledge of user research methods: contextual inquiry, persona development, usability testing. Ability to listen well to user needs and ask the right questions. Experience working in distributed, collaborative teams and directly with development groups for design implementation. A portfolio demonstrating problem solving, innovation, and design across multiple platforms. Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and usability principles. Preferred Job Qualifications A formal education in Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, HCI, Information Architecture, or comparable professional experience. Working knowledge of SaaS is a plus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work closely with Product Management and Subject Matter Experts to ensure proper translation of business requirements representing the customer point of view. Participate in customer research efforts to define the customer-driven user experience. Produce UX artifacts such as storyboards, journey maps, affinity diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, UI specifications, and user testing. Contribute to and adhere to the development of the Design System. Gather quick, continuous user feedback to guide the design process. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT): issue identification and resolution. Manage individual workload and meet project milestones. Foster a creative, positive, efficient, and collaborative team environment. Identify and mitigate risks to delivering solutions on time. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. Stay current and ahead of design trends and industry standards.
