De Nora Water Technologies, LLC (De Nora) is looking for an Engineering intern to join the Engineering and Application Engineering team in the Sugar Land office to support engineering activities. De Nora is a leader in water and wastewater treatment technologies and processes for municipal and industrial applications. The company has multiple offices around the country and worldwide.
This is a paid internship with the intent of hiring starting June 2025. This is a rolling internship with an opportunity to return in the Fall and following semesters. We offer part time and full time.
Job description
- De Nora is interested in hiring five intern-level positions in our Sugar Land location. Candidates should be Majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- An interest and passion for learning and applying technology in water treatment for drinking, industrial, and environmental purposes is encouraged.
- The intern is to assist engineers and designers in process design, drafting, technical documents, updating work streams, and ISO recertification support.
- The intern will focus and support in package equipment and in house manufacturing.
- The internship will provide a wide range of learning opportunities and skill development in the interdisciplinary engineering field.
Requirements:
- Junior or Senior Students preferred
- Interest in electromechanical systems and the process of transforming design into operating equipment. Hands on experience and aptitude preferred.
- Familiarity with Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software such as Inventor, Solid Works, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of “Drafting Standards” for Engineering Drawings, etc.
- Assist Engineers in product and process development efforts.
- Experience/interest in collecting and processing basic lab samples.
- Understanding of basic “lab safety”, “chemical handling safety”, etc.
- Interest in chemistry and process development in water technologies.
