Video and Content Coordinator Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 About the Flutie Foundation The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism was established in 1998 by former NFL quarterback Doug Flutie and his wife, Laurie, in honor of their son, Doug, Jr., who was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. Over the last 26 years, the Flutie Foundation has impacted thousands of people and families affected by autism through several programs and initiatives designed to help people with autism live life to the fullest. The Foundation also forges creative and impactful partnerships with autism self-advocates, families, organizations, and donors who share the goal of meeting the needs of people with autism today. Position Overview The Flutie Foundation is seeking a creative and strategic storyteller to coordinate our video production and digital content efforts. This role is responsible for creating, managing, and delivering compelling video and social media content that amplifies our mission to support people with autism and their families. You’ll produce high-impact videos and digital graphic assets for campaigns, events, partnerships, and evergreen brand initiatives. You’ll also contribute to organization-wide marketing, assist with events, and help shape our social media presence. Ideal candidates are passionate communicators, skilled in video and digital media production, who thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Job Description Video Creation and Management ·Create, film, and edit high-quality long and short form mission-centric videos (including reels, music videos, testimonials, promo assets, and more) for Flutie Foundation events, brand initiatives, campaigns, and social media platforms ·Coordinate all aspects of video production, including pre-production, production, and post-production ·Work collaboratively with the team to develop and execute creative concepts for impactful videos ·Schedule and organize video shoots, including managing location, film subjects, and equipment ·Manage production timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time, including all edits ·Assist with script development and storyboarding for impactful mission videos, music videos, and more ·Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to improve the quality of our video content ·Maintain an organized system for filing and storing all video content Digital Content Creation and Social Media Content ·Develop, edit, and create digital content and graphics for social media for campaigns, events, and partnerships ·Assist in creating scroll-stopping digital content to service the entire organization on social media, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube ·Create and edit digital assets needed for social media paid ad strategy ·Serve in production capacity for Facebook Live Shows and live-streamed /in-person events including pre-show preparation, run of show, talent acquisition, and post event follow up. ·Track and analyze online community engagement across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn to inform content strategy and optimize digital content impact ·Leverage AI tools to enhance digital content creation process Flutie Foundation - Wide Marketing/Communications and Events ·Assist in the creation of marketing collateral (sponsor material, mail appeals, invitations, banners) for all Flutie Foundation events/initiatives ·Assist in developing print and electronic materials, including emails, development communications, annual appeal letters, digital website content, and annual donor report. ·Attend and activate at Flutie Foundation core events, 3 rd Party events, representing the Flutie Foundation brand and mission consistently in line with the organization’s culture and values. ·Assist with larger, 3 rd party, and corporate partners such as Get Air Sports, Jersey Mike’s, etc. Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Skills and Qualifications ·Passion for improving lives for people with autism, their families, and their communities ·Excellence in relationship-building and communication with diverse people of all races, (dis)abilities, genders, sexual orientations, etc. ·Strong understanding of video production ·Strong Project Management skills and an orientation toward taking action ·Comfort in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment ·Reliable transportation to attend events and activations across Greater Boston and New England ·Familiarity with content and marketing tools such as Adobe (Photoshop, In Design, Premiere Pro), Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics ·Strong understanding of how social media contributes to an organization’s overall goals, including growth, revenue-generation and storytelling This is a hybrid position with the expectation of frequent attendance at meetings and events within Greater Boston and throughout New England.
