Job Title: Senior Architect / Project Manager
Location: Wisconsin Dells, WI
Pay Range: $70,000 to $120,000 Yearly
Duration: Full-Time Permanent
Reports to: COO
Status: Full-time, Salaried, Exempt (Benefits Eligible)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect / Project Manager to join our team at our Lake Delton headquarters. This role involves independently managing and administering various architectural projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction, effective resource management, and strong financial performance. You will work closely with architectural and interior design leaders, mentoring less experienced staff and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the principal-in-charge and lead architect/designer to secure projects, assemble internal and external project teams, create schedules, and identify necessary resources.
Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts (letter proposals, AIA contracts), and ensure client expectations for quality, price, and schedule are met.
Create and manage project design milestone schedules and construction budgets with design team leaders.
Lead projects through various stages: pursuit, contracting, design, construction administration, project turnover, client debrief, and staff debrief.
Maintain ongoing communication with clients during the design phase, attend all client design meetings, and keep leadership informed of progress.
Prepare or review construction budgets based on experience and project scope.
Assist in project analysis, programming, site analysis, and design efforts; coordinate multidisciplinary project activities.
Manage project accounts payable and invoicing processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Architectural Technology degree; Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture (NAAB-accredited School of Architecture preferred); or relevant Engineering degree.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience as an architectural project manager, including coordination of multiple projects.
Licensing: Registered Architect preferred; NCARB certification a plus but not required.
